Thor returns to find Asgard in turmoil, with his father Odin missing and his adopted sister Hela, the Goddess of Death, claiming the throne. Hela destroys Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, and exiles him to the gladiatorial planet Sakaar. There, Thor is forced to fight his old ally, the Hulk, in a contest of champions.
Thor escapes with Hulk, his friend Valkyrie, and Loki, planning to return to Asgard and stop Helaโs destruction. They discover Hela’s power is tied to Asgard’s destruction, and they must rally the people to fight back.
In an epic battle, Thor realizes his true power lies within himself, not his hammer. With the help of his allies, Thor leads the people of Asgard in a final stand against Helaโs forces.
