Holding Trevor (2007) is a gay romantic comedy-drama directed by Rosser Goodman. The film follows Trevor (Clayton Orlando), a man struggling with his identity and relationships. Trevor decides to end his relationship with Darrell, despite Darrellโ€™s pleas for another chance. As he navigates the aftermath, Trevor leans on his two best friends: Andie (Melissa Searing), a sharp-tongued aspiring doctor, and Jake (Jay Brannan), a promiscuous but kind-hearted friend who struggles with his own issues. Trevor begins dating Ephram (Christopher Wyllie), a seemingly perfect and stable guy who offers him a chance at a healthier relationship. However, Trevor finds himself unable to fully commit, grappling with self-doubt, lingering feelings for Darrell, and fear of change.

The film explores Trevorโ€™s journey of self-discovery as he tries to balance his friendships, new romance, and the emotional baggage of his past. His interactions with Andie and Jake reveal the challenges of growing up and finding oneโ€™s place in a world filled with uncertainty and imperfection.
