The story follows a team of scientists investigating a series of strange deaths along the east coast. The victims appear to have gone insane before their deaths, and clues point to a mysterious black substance linked to an ancient, malevolent force lurking beneath the ocean.

Dr. Luiza Moreira (Nana Gouvea), a scientist who specializes in ancient texts, is brought in to analyze the situation. As she digs deeper into the case, she begins to uncover a terrifying conspiracy involving an underwater alien parasite that can control the human mind.
