The classic short that introduced the world to Mickey Mouse, Steamboat Willie from 1928, is now officially in the public domain, and a number of horror filmmakers have taken to reimagining the iconic mouse as a homicidal maniac. The first of these is The Mouse Trap, which was released last month, with Screamboat due out sometime next year.
Bloody Disgusting has learned that another Mickey Mouse-inspired horror film is on the way. According to director Andrea M. Catinella, the film is titled Mouseboat Massacre.

The story follows a young woman struggling with drug addiction who suddenly begins to see a mutant human-rat hybrid invading her life. People around her begin to drop like flies.
